Eighteen years of Pokemon collected in one image.
The original Pokemon games (Red & Blue) were released in North America in September of 1998. The first game I owned was Pokemon Yellow, which was released a year later. In 1999, on my tenth birthday, I received Pokemon Yellow along with the special edition Pikachu Game Boy Color – everything was right in the world.
Over the last eighteen years I’ve played countless hours of various Pokemon games, including the Pokemon TCG. It’s interesting to see how much the games have changed in some ways, yet stayed identical in others.
I haven’t picked up a Pokemon game in a while, but my nostalgia is begging me too.
